Technologies) is a distributed center established in 1997 to serve
as a national resource for stimulating research on innovative, technology-enabled
solutions to critical problems in K-14 learning.

is a Web-based course management system currently being used at Stanford
University to support over 200 courses with over 4,000 users.

in Large Lectures developed strategies to improve the quality of learning
in large lecture classes.
MMAP (Middle
School Math through Applications Program) brought together a team of scholars
and practicing teachers to develop a technology-rich, standards-based
program.
PanFora, a
web-based discussion forum, counters the anonymous quality of large lecture
classes by enabling students to communicate easily and effectively outside
the class.
PharmaPaC,
a Web-based simulation tool, is designed to expose pharmacology students
to complex clinical situations.
Primes, a project
aimed at engaging parents in math education, is based on the belief that
parents can be powerful allies in helping children learn mathematics.
Robotic Pets
and Preschooler explores how computational technologies affect the
cognitive and emotional life of children.
