Virtual tour of Wallenberg highlights technology and teaching

Wallenberg Hall classrooms are available to faculty and instructors from across the university and are already utilized by teachers from virtually every department and school. Still, there are some campus residents who have yet to visit the hall, or see its advanced resource classrooms. A new virtual tour allows everyone a glimpse of the individual classrooms and some of the teaching activities undertaken there.

Created by Academic Technology Specialist Dan Gilbert, who has collaborated with countless faculty members on teaching in Wallenberg, the tour goes from room to room highlighting specific technologies, the techniques instructors employ while using them, and a brief history of the development of Wallenberg.

Located at the front of Stanford’s Main Quad, Wallenberg Hall exemplifies the university’s commitment to understanding how people learn, and to using that knowledge to improve education for students of all ages.
